Antique Indian solid wood table inlaid with a picture of Shajmakan and his wife, with the Taj Mahal in the distance. Includes a bonus inlaid Krishna figure.
Birds, hands, and feet (and some other details) are inlaid with ivory OR bone (untested).
These pieces have been in my family for decades, originally purchased from a NYC auction house (documentation unavailable).
Table Dimensions: 7.7” wide, 14.3” long, 12.4” high.
Krishna Figure Dimensions: 11.8” high, 5.6” wide, 3.5 cm deep.
